Partner went to new house without me

A little bit of a silly one I guess.
We completed last week while I was in work, partner collected the keys from EA and went round our new house before I finished work. I wanted both of us to step in together for the first time. It's been bugging me for days that there was no consideration shown toward us both being there for the first time at our new house.
Am I being silly?

Yeah I thought as much but you know that little trouble making voice in your head can be very convincing.0

If it meant that much surely you would have discussed it in advance or taken the day off?
Move on an enjoy your new home together. If you resent it this much you may not live there together for long as resentment will eat away and cause problems
Put it down to a miscommunication and start making memories0 -

He did the right thing.
If he'd waited, and there had been an issue (house in a total state, vendor not moved out, damage, squatters, key not working) everywhere would have been closed and you wouldn't have been able to deal with it.0
