Malthusian insists one can drink whatever as it is all matter of personal preference and norms don't exist .:D
Malthusian, here

Bottle of san miguel , 3.3 units.
3-4 bottles for 4 nights result in 40+ units. What did not you understand?
MY strawman - not sure what you referring to , are you by any chance live according to your rule that alcohol norms are not to be taken into account ? Or is there anything else that makes you keen to argue the point dishing out wrong info , wild assumption and twisting what others say? ( not retracting the wrong info but still consistently returning to the thread and keeping arguing without any proves )? I acknowledged- I was wrong in saying those were 25 units, I have not calculated them right , all the year I was thinking 1 bottle=2 units as the guidance says. When the poster pointed out that 25 units is not that much I went and looked at the bottle and recounted those units. I have written it in previous posts , why don't you read the posts you replying to ? Honestly , I am not sure you are right as hostility and disdain towards someone who just endured painful separation and suspicion that something written is not true are surprising.
Although I feel stupid I confess trying to explain again things to someone who does not read what others write, gives false info with an air as if you knew all about topic you know nothing and uses snide remarks towards others.
I think you are just having fun making stupid remarks seeing whether people bait and enjoying them being wound up.
Anyway, thanks for a free psychoanalysis session. I have a big flaw - I can not leave some blatant twisting of narrative u other infractions uncontested. Which is stupid. I need for others to see the opponent is wrong. Hmm - not good. The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0 -
Pollycat , you stated that amount that a person drinks is that persons personal choice and no amount can be considered right or wrong and it is just the matter of incompatibility without right and wrong if ideas of how much one should drink do not coincide. That there is no "unhealthy" consumption. Or did I misunderstand you ?The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Really?
I'm surprised you didn't quote that post/posts.
I certainly didn't say that "40+ units/week is an innocuous personal preference".
However, I really don't think this thread is going anywhere nice so I'll bow out and leave you with my first comment:Sorry it didn't work out, it sounded like he'd worked on reducing his drinking.
Hope your health issues are better.0
