This is often the precursor to them discontinuing.Jenni x2

I had similar offer , ignored it and then had letter from solicitor saying their client was discontinuing with the claim and their file was closed, three weeks before court date . Bit disappointing really we wanted to see them in court.2

Makes me laugh as they say "great news" then offer a discount.
I'd rather turn up and lose than throw in the towel at the last fence.5 -
Mixing your metaphors there, but we know what you mean.Jenni x1

When the new code kicks in with £50 tickets, it will not be worth taking people to court where the cost will exceed the £50 ??? Suppose some with no intelligence will have a pop at it ???
The recent news is that DCBL are expanding and taking on more staff ?? Let's hope for their sake, they are talking about a venture into another industry
With the fake add-on banned and a 50% reduction in "sales", so to speak, even a child could see they cannot be talking about the parking industry
It would drop from monopoly money to mickey mouse money1 -
Not had any indication that they are discontinuing so I'll just have to see what happens on Friday I think
Can they discontinue at any time or just not turn up?
Also I have just noticed the letter they sent me last week asking me to settle before court is for £256 but the amount on the court paperwork is for a total of £2291 -
So hearing is 11 am Friday, done all the prep I can and I'm assuming bw legal will turn up.

BW Legal never attend. They aren't the Claimant. Nor do most PPCs turn up.
That is not to say no-one does.
If you didn't know that it's a hired gun (unrelated legal rep) who attends (usually having read the papers that morning) I suggest you need to read some court report posts.
You need to know what to expect. Search the forum for ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST and read people's hearing posts.
