The two biggies to me are:
    • You forgot to use the cord grip. The cable is supposed to go under it, then it's locked in place when you tighten up the screws.
    • The neutral has far too much bare wire exposed. I suspect it isn't pushed fully into the terminal. In any case, it's likely to short to the metal bracket that it's passing over.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Those are indeed "biggies". But the biggest "biggy" is that the cover was not fitted leaving access to exposed live parts. This is an immediately dangerous fault which exposes people to the risk of electric shock.

    Thanks mser's

Mentioned faults were known at the time of my re connection effort.
1 I did notice the difference on length of three wires -Neutral short live way too long
2 The bracket I did miss as I struggled to screw in three wires whilst holding the screwdriver on right hand (I'm left handed with loss of strength and power in left side)
3- The face plate front -I couldn't sit tight after my re connection effort

Certain these will be corrected in a few mins when electrician returns tomorrow

Totally unsafe would be more correct.

    Agreed.
The neutral wire should be pushed further in to the brass block before the screw is tightened up.
The earth wire should have a short length of green/yellow sleeving.
Most importantly, the strain relief clamp (the black bit of plastic currently under the cooker cable) must be over the top of the cable.

Once the above points are fixed, the cover plate can be put back in place.

In its current condition, there is a very good chance that the RCD protection device in the consumer unit will trip out - If no RCD is fitted, then there is a potential for an earth fault to develop.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.
  • One other thing to add.

I know that it won't cause any problems as both the input and output to the terminals are crossed but the red and black cables are fitted in the wrong positions.
The red is currently in the neutral terminal and black in the line.

i matched three with colours at top
are you suggesting the internal wiring at top is wrong.

    .

thanks could either of those wiring attempts be cause of one red led only not three that cooker can use dependent on chosen function.

It's so far out I wonder if it's screwed in at all, and may be just resting against the inside of terminal block.

The OP needs to let someone with a clue sort it out.
