Whilst I haven;t heard as yet from electrician who kindly disconnected my Electric cooker last week -though maybe tomorrow he will be in touch.
As it's been over 1 week without cooker -I today decided to attempt re connecting it myself -not a brilliant attempt t..b..h -the wires into bottom screws on wall -top screws have the relevant coulours for Neutral/Earth/Live -simple I thought.
Got each connected though the Neutral isn't a great attempt and cooker is kind of working again -I did keep it switched off from mains switch in kitchen.
Whilst oven+grill and plates are heating up -only oven red led is working so I'm grill+Plates led's down.
The wall socket white plate I have no way of fitting it again -maybe the small black piece should have had the three wires underneath 1st before I screwed them in.
How important is the white front wall piece only 2 screws it will never sit flat after my attempt
Thanks!

Thanks no tips then it could be as simple as disconnecting and taking small black piece at bottom of wall plate off then re connecting screws and re connecting black piece then maybe the front panel will site flat and I could screw in the two screws.

    I repeat...

As you are asking these questions in the way you are it indicates to me that you are not "competent" to do this task.

Walk away now while you can.

    (And isolate at switch)

As above, turn it off at the fusebox and LEAVE IT ALONE before you kill yourself.
  • I agree. Give someone a call tomorrow. If you keep trying yourself you'll damage the cooker, the circuit, yourself or all three.

    Thank you very much appreciated.
I didn't view disconnection by local electrician last week- he. Was only a few mins at most.
Your kind pic is exactly what I require though one wire is short and live is very long.
With m.s. and being left handed it's not very easy to make sure all three wires make a good connection whilst screwing therm in one at a time and loosening or temp removing bracket could be more difficult, physically

I'll post what I have done at least to show non pro attempt

    Non pro attempt
Notice face plate that fell with my limited physical abilities.

Is it possible I can disconnect and start again taking bracket into consideration
