Yet again you prove yourself to be someone who just likes to be awkward for awkward sake, rather then trying to be helpful you just like to try and be a smart !!!!!
The links you posted state the same timescales I already provided.
And the last one is a USA site, so irrelevant in this case.0 -
Where is any of them does it state 120 days?0

Usually 7 working days. Never known longer in my experience but I guess some banks may differI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

We’ll remove a pending transaction if it hasn’t been taken within 7 days
We’ll stop reserving the money after 7 days, so that the money is available for you to spend. This means the pending transaction will no longer show in your account and your available balance will go back up.
However, it’s a good idea to keep enough money in your account to cover the payment, because some can take up to 120 days to go through. This means the money could still be taken at a later date, even if it’s not showing as a pending transaction.0 -
Are people on here stupid? The OP asked when pending payments drop off, the information you incorrectly posted states that some payments can take 120 days to go through. It explicitly explains that payments will drop off after 7 days. So yet another example of someone trying to be a smart a$$0

I just called the bank and explained the situation. They've released the held funds back into my available balance0

Normal transaction 14 days or 10 working days.
But if it is Car Hire or Hotel. it is now 30 days.
If retailer say they have reversed the transaction. Have a work with your card provider and they can access a visa system to confirm this and should then be able to free up your available balance.Life in the slow lane0
