its absolutly freezing here today DD1 is off to do an anti bullying day with the youth cabinet and DS is still in a special unit for kids returning to school and has to be escorted round school one of the kids who has been giving him grief sent him an offensive e mail yesterday so that was reported he had a good day yesterday the only problem being they dont go out at lunch or break still as long as he is safe

Good Morning All

Mild here too in Essex, no rain at the moment but is still very wet on the ground.

Loads of paperwork today and will clear the ironing again - theres only a few bits there so wont take too long.

Popped into Morrions when I went out yesterday - spent a bit but got loads of bogofs - tonight we have their pizza which was £2.39 for 1 or buy 2 4 £2. Having that with coleslaw and garlic bread.

Not much else to report - house is quite clean and tidy and OH beewaxed all our furniture.

Morning everyone!

Supposed to be a chilly day here in London, but ive got my toasty warm new jammies on and a coffee;)

Got two small xmas trees in B&Q yesterday that I shall be putting in my tubs for the front of the house, should look lovely with some twinkly lights!! They were only £10 each, much cheaper than buying a potted tiny conifer!

Need to make a list of xmas food and things today, finish xmas cards & post some photos to my brother in Australia.

Yesterday I made Rachel Allens Leek,potato, blue cheese soup which tastes yummy so thats Lunch sorted out for today:D

Didnt watch Im a Celeb but I see Katie has gone.

Morning All

Managed to give myself a migraine think it was stress triggered. Havent had one for so long it was quiet frightening. It is not fun trying to care for a 3yrold when your feeling like that.

Anyway I feel alot better this morning we are going swimming later and then a spot of light cleaning. Tomorrow we are off to DH school fete and as it is so close to the Trafford Centre it would be rude not to pay a visit. I'm hoping to get dd a proper old style red wool coat for best. MIL bought dd a brown fake fur but personally I feel that it looks like something Hesters lodger might wear to go Uncling :eek: . I will take it back and tell her it didnt fit.

Must get up now and get the xmas cake mixed so I can pop it in the oven before we go out.

Only thing is, I had to empty and reset!

Off to the doc's this morning to discuss my medication. At the moment, every time I move, I get a really sharp pain down my leg, but if I don't move I stiffen up, which makes it worse.

I have put some chicken in the slowcooker for chicken curry tonight. The girls' friend is staying over so will pick up some 'party food' as they call it - biscuits etc.

There's loads of washing to be done, so I've got one load on already. Sheets need changing, but that's a job I need DDs to do this weekend.

Good morning everyone,

Im off into town today, im hoping to get the last of my xmas shopping - i do not want to be going in again this side of xmas, town in December is a nightmare and i hate it.

Need to do a big clean as well, as my sister is coming down for the day tomorrow with her family, and apart from wanting the house to look nice for them, i normally do most of my cleaning at the weekend and dont want to be doing that whilst they are here.

And thats about it, must go and get my 2 ready for school now - hope everyone has a lovely day.

Snowy - good luck at the dentist, hope Mitzi is ok, rememeber when my Sam was done, he sat under the bed for a couple of days giving me dirty looks, and wasnt even impressed with his treat of chicken!!!

Thank Crunchie Its Friday! Im so ready for this week to be over!

Ive got the council coming later after i finish work, to re-plaster the bathroom & re-tile.
Spent all evening, put toiletries away etc, Ive just got the shower curtain to take down!

had a fright this morning when I was vacuuming a HUGE spider ran across my foot and went under the sofa:eek: an keeping well clear and just hope DH can sort it out tonight!

DS1 is doing his first proper radio show on FM tonight in the Worcester area for youthcomm radio - until now he's only done it on the internet so he's excited about this!

DS2 is off to Birmingham tonight with friends to see The Black Crusade concert which is lots of heavy metal bands.

Today at work we are taking one of my ladies - she's in her 30s with learning difficulties and is blind to ToysRUs to buy some playdoh and have a touch of all the toys - she especially likes the musical teddy type ones.Should be fun!Lunch out on expenses too!:D

Morning everyone.
Very cold this morning here, starting to feel like christmas!!!
Not got anything planned for today, so im staying in the warm (well as warm as i can be without putting the heating on!!) going to make weetabix cake and hob nobs,Shep pie for tea, wash and iron next weeks school uniforms so i dont have to do it this weekend.
Wrap ds3 birthday presents once i find them as they are hid away with all the xmas presents ready for the morning.
Plus chase up some wipper blades i ordered last week from ebay, hoping they arrive today as dh needs them for mot retest in the morning!!!

Morning gang, gosh its SOOOOO cold. Well yesterday was a bit strange logged on here only to find that I was already logged on????(me and computers-NOT a great combination ) Anyway it then proceded to freeze this was after I had made a post but when I was in my PM box:eek: then after having to turn the bl**dy thing off at the mains decided to go on to facebook as I joined after being befeft when MSE was down.Froze again AND I have some new messages:mad: :mad: :mad: (love getting messages) But something good has come out of it. The lad that DH helped with his GCSE's is now doing a computing degree and when I spoke to him about this he said he now understood exactly what was the problem :j :j So he is comming over either tomorrow or on Sunday. Which means that I WILL BE ABLE TO GET TO MY PM's properly AT LAST:j :j So thats something to look forward to. Was still logged on here this morning so will see if htis behavesfor the rest of today. This is a short one as my fingers are so cold I can't type properly(well I cant anyway but you know what i mean:rotfl: )
Have read monday and Sunday posts and will respond when i can feel my fingers!! BUT....AnnieBooklover, AMIE, Kyle Twink,Taplady thank you for the thoughts.
