It would appear you was on the spectrum. I wouldn't read too much in to it. I read before on one of your posts that you are incredibly shy, they prob has a high factor on the points

I got 18 which is average I believe

Yes, 18 is close to the control group. The control group being "usual people/random everyday people".

Random is definatly a word for me :rotfl:

What did you get out of curiousity. I would love my brother to do it, but I can't imagine him sitting down and doing it

your Introverted score is quite high then. I am guessing you are completley different on the board than face to face?

    You are right.

There is no point upsetting yourself over people who are not worth your time anyway.

Not all 'usual people' as you put it, are like that though.

I can't say I am used to Introverted people, as my brother is extreamly loud and would rather punch you in the face than be on his own
I can't be around loud people.
I've been around usual loud people - and one ADHD loud guy in particular.

I have hearing sensitivities and have to watch where I am/what outside noises are about.

With the loud people tends to go: moves about a lot. I don't like 'moves about a lot' as I find it disconcerting. I have to be aware of where they are all the time, where they're moving to... and it takes a lot of energy just to do that.

If I am with people who move about, I have to distance myself from them.

I also don't wish to be in the presence of people who have any kind of violent tendencies. The friend I have who has ADHD seems to think talking of/threatening to punch everybody for everything is a valid solution. This disagrees with my passive nature ... and I went out with a guy who used his fists. So I get scared as I find them unpredictable.

As an Aspie I can't read/predict people. So I have to self-protect where possible.

Sam (he is autistic by the way) is very loud (screaming at the top of his lungs in public places) and watching videos at full volume. He doesn't like the radio on in the car and puts his fingers in his ears, seems it is small spaces he doesn't like load sounds, but he doesn't have conversations so we don't know why! have you any insight as you suffer from hearing sensitivities.

Thats a shame about the guy you went out with, obviously he couldn't help having ADHD, but you shouldn't have to put up with that!

Have you ever had a relationship with someone who has AS?

I can't describe the hearing thing, but it hurts. Certain frequencies pierce the ear drum. Sometimes I can hear that frequency from a long way away, over all other noises closer.

    Two different guys.
The ADHD one is one I met as a small group of online chat friends. He drives me nuts. I have to ignore most of what he is saying because it is floods of postings and rantings, his entire life coming down to who he wants to hit.

I didn't even KNOW it existed until last year. But I think I did. I think bf4 possibly did. His friends called him Peter Perfect as everything had to be "just so" - and when I started seeing him everybody said "She is the only person you can go out with because she's just the same". It didn't last though. After a few weeks he decided fishing was better than having a gf. And I agreed that I'd rather he went fishing.

On my first date with bf5 I'd picked him up, driven round the corner to park and got out of the car and he asked me what job I did then remarked "I wondered why you are like you are". Which confused me. I had no idea what he meant. I've since asked him what he meant - and he said there was something about me he couldn't quite fathom out, and that it is my AS behaviour.
