The link to the Phil & Teds on eBay is here:

You want the single, the seat at the back is available as an 'extra' and most places will sell them seperately. Here is the google link:

I paid £299 for the buggy bit, you will need the single raincover but nothing else if you are not using it with another child. Whatever you do DO NOT by it from twoleftfeet.co.uk their CS is disgraceful with no customer services at all. they are pants!
PS. I googled OUt & About and found this: http://www.out-and-about.org.uk/index.asp Lot sof places for disabled children to attend in Norfolk & Sussex. Is this any help to anyone??0 -
As said, Aspies tend to be INTJs or ISTJs....there's a link to a forum I posted earlier on..they discuss their results. Most are either INTJs or ISTJs.

For those talking about the cost of buggies for special needs, consider asking the Family Fund for a grant to fund it. I posted the link to the FF earlier on in the thread.
http://www.familyfund.org.uk/
You can get up to around £700 per year towards days out, holidays, dishwashers, laptops...anything that is of benefit to the disabled child (be it through helping the family cope, or taking the child on holiday). You can ask for money towards more than one thing - I asked for money towards a washing machine and days out last year.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I'd go for it. At least that way you know. You can forget it was done, but you know.
I am working for an employment project for people with Aspergers! After learning more about AS I began to realise that my brain worked more in an AS way than an NT way!
My boss has a adult son with AS and we have links with a research project that will do my assessment.
I will get it done..... it would make sense to know if AS is the reason why I have some of my ongoing 'issues'! Its scary tho.2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -

God yes its very scary but personally id rather know and be better able to try and get help to deal with things, than not know and live in constant what if's.:T This site is great! Thanks to Martin Lewis & everyone who participates and helps so many people! Without you all, where would we be ??:T

I got a 47 on this.
"Psychologist Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at Cambridge's Autism Research Centre have created the Autism-Spectrum Quotient, or AQ, as a measure of the extent of autistic traits in adults. In the first major trial using the test, the average score in the control group was 16.4. Eighty percent of those diagnosed with autism or a related disorder scored 32 or higher. The test is not a means for making a diagnosis, however, and many who score above 32 and even meet the diagnostic criteria for mild autism or Asperger's report no difficulty functioning in their everyday lives. "
Although I do find some questions hard to understand what they mean. But I guess that's partly because of the spectrum0 -
Who was it watched that documentary about the boy who got the dog with their son and then asked their son how he 'felt' about it?
DS1 cannot answer 'feeling' questions at all. I now say that he 'lacks the wiring'.
It's hard to explain, because clearly they demonstrate strong feelings at times (the uncontrollable rage, for example), but it's as if they 'feel' emotions only at extremes. So, nothing or everything.
Loved that 10 pointer about the GOOD things in Aspies. Can tick all of them for DS1, and for the chap we live with, also DH to a certain extent.
g2g, not long in from my evening class, in dire need of a cuppa. blue_monkey will PM you again soon!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
