Hmm I see what you're saying. They're new neighbours that literally moved in the day the photos were being taken for the listing (worst luck with the flag). Previous neighbour kept the front much neater and cleaner looking.0 -
The flag would put me right off, as would the unkempt path and amenity land to the left.
At the least you could strimmer the path tidy (even though it isn't yours) and spray all the fencing.
The orange/red would put me off but perhaps not as much as the artex ceiling and the purple wallpaper. Paint I can cover, but wallpaper needs stripping. The main objection to strong colours is they make rooms look smaller and darker.
I presume it's a laundry/towels hamper in the bathroom but it looks like a vomit bucket.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Not bothered by the flag next door or the colour scheme but I think you could definitely make more of the garden. A bit of wood-staining on the fence, some nice pots and a garden table and chairs would look lovely.
Early days however and it certainly isn't a very active time of year so don't worry unduly. Good luck!!

I'm not as other directed as that, so I'd knock on the neighbour's door and see what they were like face to face, but I agree, anyone who feels it necessary to parade their nationalism might well be a problem. It would therefore be an instant ???? befre I'd even read the details.Clutterfree wrote: »I agree about the flag.

And before anyone starts, it would be the same for the flag of St George too.
Anyway it's Cwmbran, not somewhere in the depths of Ceredigion, so I'll lay odds they don't actually speak Welsh!0 -
I think a lovely hanging basket on the front of your house would brighten it up a bit

Is it just me who finds the floorplan confusing?0

Is the lounge the red room?
On a first flick through I thought there was no picture of the lounge - I thought that red room was the second bedroom as the pic came after the master and it looks (on a glance) like a teenager’s room.
Lounge pic needs to be before/after kitchen and agree that’s the one room I’d consider re-painting.
Dining room - pull the chairs out a bit and borrow some ‘standard’ dining chairs from friends/family if you can. It makes it look like you can only fit a space-saving type dining set in there.
Also agree with those saying next door would put me off. Take a fresh pic of the front on a sunny day and crop it down.0 -
Lol displaying your country’s flag in other countries is something positive, obviously not in England.0

p.s. Floor plan makes it look like the first floor is split level or something... it looks like from beds 2 and 3 you’d have to go up or down some stairs to get to the bathroom. Is that right?0

I also wonder how serious people are with their “wouldn’t even view” stance. If you are on a low income that only allows the person to buy properties around £110k (we all think this property could be overpriced) than you are going to live with people or similar tastes/view of the world.
Maybe the flag is due to th football/rugby, or for privacy. It’s outside the property which shows it’s temporarily.0
