Bright/unique colours on ad for house

Hi all! First post on MSE.
We are selling our house. It's been on the market only a week but we are worrying about the lack of views (none so far). We've been told by our EA that the lack of views at this stage is normal and we shouldn't panic.
My question is - would you be put off by an ad for house where the colours (carpets/walls) are very bright and bold? To us, the colours are lovely and wouldn't put us off buying a house but we know they won't be to everyone's taste. It's a fairly large house in a good location with a double drive and it's well maintained but I'm now thinking perhaps the colours are putting potential buyers off. What do you guys think? Should we re-decorate to more neutral colours? Is it worth the time and money?
FYI: House is in South Wales, UK. I can't post a link but if you search '3 Hafod Court Road' on Zoopla.co.uk you can see the ad.
Thanks in advance for your advice

This one?
1 week is not alot of time To be honest, is it priced accordingly and not over priced?"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

It could be worth painting the sitting room a neutral colour but the others are fine.0

Hello! Yes that's the one. Thank you, I'm such a worrier that to me a week has felt like forever :rotfl:0

Colours aren’t to my taste, but look fine and wouldn’t waste time repainting. However, the photos are poor quality and most importantly all recent sales are £20k less than your asking price!0

It is nicely turned out, the colours (especially the lounge) make the rooms look small but that wouldn't put me off viewing if this ticked my other boxes of location and size.
Only question, looking at the sold prices on Rightmove other 3 beds in your street sold for c£90k two years ago, and I do wonder if you are not getting viewings because of the price?
Good luck0 -
@vestra - do you think so? Do you think it's worth asking for a re-do on the photos?
We've been considering lowering the price in hopes it will sell faster. We went with what the EA valued it as but I have too noticed it's more than the average for the street.0 -

EA often overvalue houses to get your business, Value it realistically and to what has previously sold recently and similar"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

It’s not my sort of house, but if it were the colours wouldn’t put me off. What would put me off is the dreary exterior shot. Can you brighten up the front?
And, as others have said, a week is no time at all.0 -

I didn't know this. We're new to this as we bought this house as FTBs. Hmm, starting to think we should get another EA to value it and see how much to drop the price by.0
