Hi Redx,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I thought the arguments were relevant to my situation. Should I take the whole paragraphs out if so would this be the paragraph after number 11?
Oh my god I feel like I have completely messed this up and I should of just kept the first draft.
I am not going to have time to make all these changes on my lunch break
I have no idea what to do.0 -
I never said remove any paragraphs so your question makes no sense to me
I would add all the abuse of process paragraphs in the previous draft , before 12 , thereby moving paragraph12 to the very end , then renumber from 11 onwards, so what is now 12 becomes something like 19 or 20 or whatever
Post #13 told you to object to those additional charges, hence adding the abuse of process paragraphs back in
Your paragraph referencing both Cop,s makes no sense to me , because the claimant isn't a member of the IPC , so check the reasons why the IPC was mentioned , it didn't appear by chance and I have no idea why you mentioned the IPC ?0 -

Hi All,
Thank you for your assistance so far in this matter.
Yes, I made the recommended changes and submitted my defence at around 15:20 (Cutting it extremely fine).
I've just logged in and the latest update is "your defence was received 28/08/2019"0 -
Hi All,
Further to the above, I have since received a letter from BW Legal stating that their client wishes to proceed with the case and i have until 30th September (today) to either pay in full or set up a payment plan.
I have also received the questionnaire from the County Court Business Centre which requires completing by 10th October 2019.
I know the letter from BW Legal is intended to scare me, but it has - I am considering Paying as I don't want the stress of it. What do you all think?
Thank you in advance.0 -
I can send a copy of the letter if required (I'll blank out any details).
Thank you0 -
Why would you now pay?
If you want to take the easy way out all the time life gets expensive
Treat this as a learning exercise and a cost of being an adult. You'll learn a lot and come out a lot better from this.
A begging letter from those idiots at BW Legal? Noone here cares.
You know how to complete teh court form.0 -
Complete your Directions Questionnaire as explained in Bargepole's 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.
When complete, return your DQ to the CCBC in the same manner and to the same email address that you sent your Defence.
Remember to send a copy of your completed DQ to the Claimant - address on your Claim Form.0 -
Ok fair point.
Thank you both, I'll follow the steps and complete the questionnaire.0 -
Hi All,
I have another question...
If I lose in court and a CCJ is issued against me - I am currently in the process of saving to buy a house and will be shortly applying for a mortgage. Will this be impacted by the court case? Or will it not be affected as long as I pay the CCJ within the timeframe required?
Thank you again.0
