You're doing amazingly well :) super motivational to me and maybe I should do what you're doing and pay off a little here and there ☺️

    Hi Alicia,

Little and often does seem to be working for me. All of a sudden I was below 55k and I didn't think it would be possible in such a short space of time

  • Very motivated to send these extra amounts to the loan account, must be nice to see inroads

It is nice to see the debt coming down but I am so impatient to join the 2 loans together. I think that's when I'll start to see proper dents against the debt!

Well done, you've paid off so much so quickly!

Thanks! Moguline! Unfortunately this isn't a typical month or I'd be debt free in no time! Still I must make hay while the sun shines and all that!

Thanks SavingH. I shall celebrate in Spain this weekend :) Not too much though, as I don't want the debts going up!

  • Afternoon! Had a busy weekend with DD turning 8 and other various bits and pieces. Was spendy too with the party but I think we will just about scrape by on the budget.

I have an interview in my old place this week. Not sure whether to go for it. It is part time which is great but the place itself is quite !!!!!y and lots of swinging the lead and absences. Money is good though

  • I'm still chasing H to put in his expenses. It can get so frustrating when you are the only one doing the money saving

I need to maintain my momentum as I have form for starting well and then just abandoning ship when I see something bright and sparkly!

You've done brilliantly so far! All those little bits soon start to add up! I know what you mean about feeling you are the only one trying - but if that is the case then give yourself extra credit for what you've achieved!
    Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
    Current debt - £5,935.00
Total paid off - £9,665.89 (61% paid off)
  • I accidentally on purpose leave out bits of paperwork that my dh has to deal with, eventually he get on with it but he really hates speaking to companies on the phone so I have to give him a few days!

Good luck with the interview, even if you don't end up taking it at least you went to have a nosy.
