  • I accidentally on purpose leave out bits of paperwork that my dh has to deal with, eventually he get on with it but he really hates speaking to companies on the phone so I have to give him a few days!

    Good luck with the interview, even if you don't end up taking it at least you went to have a nosy.

    Thanks HM. I didn't go for the interview in the end. The job didn't feel right for me at all.

  • Afternoon! I had a really lovely time in Spain but came back to terrible weather. Autumn is well and truly upon us! Payday for H is on Wednesday and I'm looking forward to updating signatures. I will make a payment of €1500 but can't see me being able to make anything much beyond that as this month have to pay for:

    * Annual bin charges
    * Deposit for car insurance
    * Car tax

    I can't wait until the day I have it saved up

  • That's still a really great sum to pay off in a month!
    I honestly really look forward to updating sums every month!

    It's not a bad amount at all, I just get impatient! Updating the sums is very addictive!

  • Glad you had a nice holiday, yep weather has been pants!

    A brilliant amount to be able to pay off the debt, even with all your other outgoings. Well done!

  • Afternoon! Waiting impatiently for H's payday tomorrow so I can do the money shuffle. I am really impatient to join the 2 loans together and really start making headway.

  • Afternoon! Payday for H today so I have done the money shuffle When the loan comes out tomorrow it will be under €54k!!!

    There has been talk of H getting along overdue bonus in work but depending on what it is I have earmarked that to do up the upstairs bathroom. The house is 22 years old (we moved in 3yrs ago) and it has never been done up. It is absolutely disgusting and looks filthy no matter how many times I clean it. Our ensuite shower doesn't even work but that's another days work.

  • Yay pay day, great news to get under another milestone. I hope the bonus comes through a new bathroom would be lovely. Our house is the same needs decorating and always looks dirty, makes me more determined to get rid of the debt and be able to put at least £400 back in the budget so we can save for decorating / a holiday a some point.

    Thanks HM. I suppose ideally the bonus would pay down some debt but we have to live too and the bathroom is so grim it really needs to be done.
