Thanks PH. It definitely is hard to find a job to fit in around kids, espcially with DD having extra support needs. I need to get her sorted before I can take on anything with more responsibility.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thanks SavingH. It has given a great kick start to getting the loan down! My aim is to get it to €17,000 so I can add the 2 loans together and don't have 2 payments coming out. That will mean I'll have an extra €388 per month to chuck at the credit cards. Weirdly I have a great track record for overpaying on loans and getting them paid off earlier.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I have a bit of a tender head today as was at a match yesterday. Dinner has already been made and I have a wash on and dishwasher on. I think that's about as productive as I'll get today :rotfl:Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Evening all Well I got the job but am in 2 minds whether to take it or not. It is 2 mornings a week but the pay isn't great in relation to the responsibility. After travel expenses I've worked out I'll only be about €180 a month better off. And at that I have to rope in my mother and H to be there to send the kids off to school in the mornings. It would be grand if it was in my town but it's not.
Still unsure what to do but seems an awful lot of hassle for that amount of money per month. Does that sound terrible? I think I would rather cut our expenses in the home to save the €180.
The thing is we can comfortably make the repayments and overpay without me working so am tempted to wait until after Xmas and make sure DD is properly settled into school and getting the help she needs. Took her over an hour to do homework tonight and she is just about to turn 8Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
