Hi My appeal to parking eye has been rejected. I have a POPLA ref number. Looking to appeal. Doing my research. Any guidance would be appreciated. I have also spoke to the practice, who have been difficult and not very helpful. Still in coversation.
Many thanks for your help0 -
Hi
I am going through the newbie thread for POPLA appeal. I have couple of questions specific to my case.
The staff car park in question is adjacent to a council car park with no clear distinction between the two. Are the PPC meant to clarify the boundaries of the car park? Is there any relevant regulation? Can we use this as a defence?. See image below:

The area marked in red in the staff car park where I parked. The rest of the car park is part of York street car park which is a pay and display car park. There is no clear demarcation between the two. Also there are 2 rows of parking spaces in the staff park area, however as you can see in the image below the signs are only on the row closer to the surgery wall and the wall itself. There is no signs on or close to the second row. Infact the closest sign to this row is “pay and display” for the York street car park.

There are also fresh cut marks on the tree, where they have cut the branches which were overhanging the sign. It can be clearly seen from the pictures I took today compared to the pictures I took on the day of the alleged offence.

Just wanted to know if these are good points to contest
Many thanks0 -
Looks like you have some very pertinent points to make about signage. Check out the signage example in the POPLA section of the Newbies' thread - it's great for general points. You can then weave in or add on your specific points.
Embed all relevant photos in your appeal, give them reference numbers and clearly refer to them as you go along.0 -

Many thanks!0 -
You have a para which is not stated in the heading:-
"5. The ANPR System is Neither Reliable nor Accurate"
Sorry - pedantic mode - couple of typos here:-
"Figure 6: Layout of the car park - The area marked in (read) is said to (me) the staff car park"
Even more pedantic - bet ParkingEye is one word in their docs0 -
Also there are a lot of links in the document.0

Thanks. Will amend those. Thanks for pointing out the typos 0
