A couple of facts....

I Fought The Lloyds reached No 24 in the download charts but had everyone who paid for the text actually downloaded the song it would have been at No 5, no mean feat.

Multiple buying of the text doesn't count, one mobile number text equals one vote.

I'm sorry if I offended you - I have tried to keep it light-hearted and tongue in cheek. But truth be told I am getting a bit tired of the relentless self-promotion, and having this awful stuff rammed down our throats continually here.

Can we just accept that despite the unrelenting pressure people did "vote with their feet" NOT to buy it, it didn't get to No.1 and is now history, and please move on? Perhaps the thread could be locked or something in due course now that it has all run its course?

It's a shame that it turned out it was in fact the number of downloads, not number of purchases. It does make sense for it to be the number of downloads though unfortunately. At least at number 25 it gets a play and mention on the radio to many people who'll otherwise never have heard it.

I sent the text, got the reply telling me to download or it wont count, however when I try to download it says order not found.

hmm, I see this is a year old, perhaps the first post should be edited to explain this is no longer valid.

Do they refund for situations like this?
