No, no, no Ivan - that just won't do at all. it just doesn't rhyme or scan at all (and don't you DARE jump in with "neither does the original"! )

Can I suggest you re-phrase your attempt - something along the lines of:

"Oh my, wot a rotten song, oi
wot a rotten song, oi
wot a rotten song...
Ohhh my, wot a rotten song,
and wot a rotten singer, too-oo-oo!"

Option to add "Have a banana" at the end if so desired.

Please try harder.

I met the boys today at Martin's show and they treated us to a song in the Green Room before recording. They were great fun, have done a fabulous job all week are such polite, delightful guys... all of them a credit to their Mums, Martin and MSE, thank you so much.

That is the sad reality ... maybe it is a deliberate attempt at self generation of business ... Oystar could be onto a good thing here .. martin may soon need someone to write various protest songs such as
- lamenting the end of free banking ('Don't cry for me')
- decring the increasing credit discrimination where those in need cannot get credit ('where or where did my credit go')
- people not being able to find a guarantor ('When I need you')
- shock news, guarantors being chased for the debt of someone who could not get credit ('I didn't do it')

Quite so, and if anyone really thinks the Govt will do anything that would undermine the profitability of any other bank in the wake of the Rock mess, you'd have to be seriously self-deluded.
