Help Get the Bank Charges song to number 1!

As someone suggested, this song seems to resemble "I Fought The Law", written by Sonny Curtis and performed by The Crickets, Bobby Fuller 4 and The Clash.
Can anyone confirm that the original writer has been acknowledged or is this a rip-off?

And apparently MSE is contributing 5p to the cost per message, so cost price is a little more. I wondered the same at first.

paid 50p, recieved code am bombarding everyone i know about it (and MSE website). Saved plenty of money already, am claiming about £2500 in cc charges.1

50p is the least i can payback to Martin, EdinburghLass and the rest.

To all you nay-sayers. Heres an idea, if you dont like it, dont download it. Noones making you, but dont condemn the rest of us for keeping the fight going.

Brilliant stuff Martin. Well done to all those involved in making this fun track and the video. This site has saved me money beyond my wildest dreams and I'll be ordering downloads of this track with all my various sim cards!
