    Morning All

Well DH came back from the pub while I was still on the laptop so I didn't do anything else last night but so far this morning I have put the WM & TD on, cleared the top of the sink area and cleaned the outside of the fridge freezer and freezer.

There is still a couple of bits underneath the sink, mainly rubbish, so I may do that in a minute or just leave it for DH when he gets up. He can stay in bed until 730 at the latest but then he needs to get up as he has got to take the sink out and do a bit of plastering before my dad comes around 9.30ish to help him to lay the floor. The other thing I may do if I have time before DH gets up is clean the cooker while the sink is still in place - I won't have a sink until sometime next weekend once he takes it out!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.

I'm off to York races today with all the family except DH who is working. But first I need to find Littleydogs meds which DH has moved from their usual spot and put in a safe place that he can't remember and I can't find. Really don't need this on a bank holiday weekend when the dogs are going to the dog sitter.

    Have a great day everyone.

Oven cleaned, DH is just taking the sink unit out, just going to hang washing on the line and fold the clothes in the TD.

    Morning all

Have had a lie in this morning and am feeling much better. Have just put first load in to wm to swish, I have quite a list to get through this weekend but the weather is going to be nice and DH will help so it will be done.

I finally managed to sort my insurances last night, just before renewal for both of them but have saved over £200 a year so pleased with that. I just need to print and file the new paperwork and phone the one company to tell them I won’t be renewing. For some reason I couldn’t do it online last night.

Right then, cuppa slurped, time to shower and make a start, spare room and office to be tackled first!!

Have a lovely day all x

    Morning

Hugs to asb, dancemum and anyone else who wants / needs a hug x

Another full week at work behind me. MM was on A/L so I had a colleague from another office working alongside me - without any problems :T I told her it had been a pleasure to work alongside her - and I meant it! Minimum flying done (as usual :() but I did manage WM x1 in the week.

Had my first telephone counselling session last night - five sessions being paid for by work. She really made me think - and recommended a book that I had just bought :D.

As of 4.30 pm yesterday I am on A/L :T Called to see Dad on the way home - he was very down after receiving some sad news about a friend :( ... then, after my counselling, I called at Mr C00p with a listie as I'd made a meal plan once I knew that DS and GF are staying over here for the weekend. That's a first :D Hopefully it will save me having to pop to the shop again before Tuesday :D

The house is an utter tip; I am an extremely overweight wreck - there is a lot of work to do! But nothing that is not do-able with self-discipline. focus, and determination. Can you feel me rolling up my sleeves mentally. This is my last week as a 58 year old - I want to make it count ;).

I'll start by sorting Mount Washmore in to loads, set the first load swishing, and getting dressed. Ever had deja vu?

That all sounds very positive, Round. I'm so pleased work went well.

(((Hugs))) ASB. It sounds as though you have made your decision. You can blow off steam here any time you want to.

Fantastic to hear some Flykids have done really well with their exams. Good on them. For those that didn't do so well, some of us managed to fail all our O Levels except English Language the first time around, but I got a couple of degrees later. Some of us are just late starters.

(((Hugs))) Dancemum. Is there any sign that things might be calming down?

I've spent the day cooking for tomorrow. It's coming together but I'm now shattered and I've still got a Pavlova to time so that it can bake and then rest in the oven overnight after we've had our pizza this evening. And the shower room still needs doing.
    Better is good enough.

Another job off the summer job list - bureau emptied, cleaned out, tidied, stuff sorted to go into work (more random biros, we'll use them for the signing-in books because they walk) and a few bulldog clips. Have also had a sort through filing cabinet and shredded old documents.

And been catching up on Deep Water.

The day has disappeared. DSis called first thing to see if we were free at all over the weekend. DSis and BiL came for late lunch, eating whatever was our fridge / from the allotment added to some bits that they brought. They have just left, and the kitchen has been returned to the normal level of chaos. DW has run and been emptied. I have a large ironing pile looking at me but I might just sit outside and sort out the winter salad seeds that I should have already planted while I wait for g&t o’clock to tick over.

    Evening all

Have ticked a load of jobs off my list today! I am not going to list everything, it will take too long! Whole house has been cleaned, 5 loads of washing washed and dried, supper cooked and eaten, bit warm but I did my menu plan before seeing the forecast and it was already out of the freezer!!!!

I have just reset the kitchen and am now sitting in the garden with a glass of wine. Very civilised!

Plan for tomorrow is to do the garden and tidy the garage, DH will do a tip run and I am going to load some things into my car to take to charity on Tuesday. I also need to start sorting some things for holiday next week but I think that will be Mondays job.

Have a lovely evening all xx
