You don't know their circumstances - they might choose to maintain their emergency funds in ISAs or interest bearing accounts whilst taking advantage of 0% credit cards to pay for holidays etc.
I run my current account at my full £3k fee free overdraft limit, but I have the funds in interest bearing accounts to cover it. I gain interest on an additional £3k p.a. by doing so. Very prudent.0 -
So, apparently because i dont have the means to buy my house outright im living beyond my means.
Yet OP who's one an average salary (and does loads of OT to bump it up) says they cant afford a holiday & claims to be struggling isnt spending too much?
Can you not see the contradiction here 'just trying' ?0 -
I see now, reading the OP’s posts under his other name that all of his children are bleeding him dry and he’s blowing a lot of money on photography.
OP, if that’s your picture you are too old to be trolling. You should be ashamed, but of course, won’t be.0 -

They dont.. theyre not the best at financial.management, but they get by and still can afford a few luxuries.
The OP is either exaggerating or not telling us the full story0 -
