Thank you for all the help given i doubt id of done it without itCould you please tell us a little bit more, in particular which court, the Judge's name (if you remember that), on what grounds did the court find in your favour. Also, if you could give us short report on how things unfurled on the day and an indication as to how the PPC's legal rep handled things.ANOTHER VCS ONE BITES THE DUST!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Ho guys sorry for the slow reply.here are some more details
Middlesbrough combined court
Judge reed
On the day i went to court and i was met by their solicitor and offered a final get out of £125 before we stepped into the court room.i of course rejected the offer.
We then went into the court room and they pulled out a massive collection of papers showing photos of all signs and their rules and regs.they also had pictures of my vehicle etc.
the judge got straight to the point and asked if i had a ticket to park which i showed him.
Their solicitor didn't have a defence statement from the parking attendant who issued the ticket
The judge then asked on what grounds this ticket should stand,to which the reply was failure to display.the parking attendent noted on his xda that i had produced a ticket at the time and the judge basically said that it was a complete waste of time as i had done my best to adhere to the parking conditions and there wouldnt be a problem if the tickets were sticky backed.
The case was dismissed in my favour on producing a valid ticket and a photo of the parking attendants hand held device stating he had missed my ticket and i produced one at the time and he had seen it.
I was awarded £56 in costs payable within 2 weeks which i am still yet to recieve8 -

A sound result, let's hope you get your money.0

pesky_robway well done. Was the legal Elms Legal by chance ?
The judge was right about TIMEWASTING, not the first time VCS/EXCEL have been told that.
Why Simon Renshaw-smith keeps bringing time wasting cases to court must now be down to desperation
Renshaw-smith blotted his book a long time ago with the courts.
So, Renshaw-smith did not pass GO and lost £100 + the scam £60 + his costs ???

Well done on your most excellent win. This isn't the first judge to say that non-adhesive tickets are not fit for purpose.
It seems odd to me that payment by a Sunday has been ordered, but I am not court savvy.
If it doesn't arrive on time you have several choices including complaining to the court or making a court claim yourself. This will cost you £25 but you will get it back.
Alternatively there might be a way to get court appointed bailiffs to seize goods to the value owed.
