I have seen more backbone in a tin of sardines.
How can a 1yr test be "meaningless" when IFAs use "critical yield" as an alibi for their directions.
I'm sure bowlhead will list the fund.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

With any luck this thread could top my all-time favourite to-date, Whatever happened to the poster who, in November 2017, forecast a £400k return on his two-year £10k Bitcoin investment?. Tried searching and I can't find it.
Are we allowed to place side bets?

OK, the mixed asset fund is RIT Capital Partners plc.
Its portfolio holdings as at the end of June are shown on page 7&8 of the half-yearly report pdf at https://www.ritcap.com/sites/default/files/RIT_2019_HalfYearly_Report.pdf
Closing price on the LSE today was 2055p.
For the stocks whose prices you listed in dollars, are you happy with the USD/GBP exchange rate being as per yahoo finance as I type this, 1.211?
[EDIT: I see your US stocks were already listed at GBP price, fine]
Also, you mentioned dividends. When we reach ex-div date, are we assuming the dividends are reinvested back into the company at the closing price on ex-div date, or held as a pot of cash? Either is fine with me.0 -
yes, $121.1 that is how the £ price was calculated.
RIT Capital Partners plc.. ok 2055p0 -

can we also track some kind of more "normal" benchmark aligned fund, and if that wins then you both pay £100 to charity?
e.g. LS1000
