OK thanks I'll do that, as I have now received the court Allocation Letter that it will be my local court I write to and not Northampton?
On another note, I've finally received a zip file of SAR info from VCS and all of the photos, the copies of the PCN, and the copy of the Notice to Keeper are not of my car. They've sent me some pictures of a nice car but it's never belonged to me, they're taken in a car park miles from where my alleged event took place, and the NTK is someone else. This is of course a serious breach of DPA, what is the advice on this breach please?0 -
Hi received letter from court saying WS and evidence need to be served to the court and claimant on a set date
But, no court date given it says "the hearing of this claim will take place on a date to be fixed by the court". Is this normal and would it be right then to expect the court date to be around 2 weeks after the date deadline for WS?0 -
Its a breach as theyve managed to not send you YOUR data either
File an IMMMEDIATE complaint with teh ICO AND inform the person who had their data breached - you have their details now.
State they should also complain to the ICO.
Usually its around two weeks after.0 -
I think I would be making a telephone call to the court because clearly something is missing - the DATE.Hi received letter from court saying WS and evidence need to be served to the court and claimant on a set date

The letter tells me the name of the judge, that it's on small claims track and "The hearing of the claim will take place on a date to be fixed by the court".
It then goes on to say that Witness Statements must be provided to the court and other parties by xx/xxxxxxxxxx/2019.
I had expected a date for the hearing or does that come later.0 -
Have you made that telephone call to the court - will need to be tomorrow now as I suspect they close for business at 16.00?0

No joy, will call tomorrow. Thanks.0

No need.
Clearly the order says to get your docs in by x date, and THEN the judge will review the date for the hearing and set the appropriate time, given the submissions.
Very sensible way round to do things, well done that Judge. Very organised and means he/she can also strike cases out, or send a warning, if parties fail to comply with those initial case management directions.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Aha, that makes sense, what a shame the letter (or at least the part the OP shared) doesn't actually say that.0
