You could try logging in to MCOL and check the status.0
-
VCS may not reply to anything you have stated above , logging into the mcol site should tell you it's status
If your defence and DQ have gone in and been accepted , you are awaiting paperwork from your local court that you nominated , this could take months , by the time the Court order arrives you will have forgotten all about this saga, so will need to get back up to speed again
Read the bargepole timeline of events post
If your DQ only went in recently , then you may not hear anything else for months
This is a slow , drawn out process , because the wheels of justice grind exceedingly slowly0 -
Thanks folks, can't log onto MCOL for some reason it keeps telling me password is wrong when it was ok a couple of weeks ago. I'll give them a ring and see what the status is.0

Just realised I've put 0 in the box for how many witnesses on the DQ. What are the ramifications please?0
-
You could try downloading another DQ (or modify the one you saved) change it to "1" and e-mail it to the CCBC using the e-mail address you used before with a covering note to ask for it to be changed.0
-
OK thanks again I'll do that although 3 days passed required submission date now. Hopefully it will be accepted. If not does it mean I can't attend or speak at the court?0
-
Sent amended DQ to court & Claimant and phoned ccbc to see if it had been accepted. They said that I would simply need to inform the court that I would include myself as a witness.
I also asked if they should have provided me with a copy of their DQ as we're now 10 days past the deadline and I have not received it. They said that it's not been received into their system yet either although they can be up to a week behind.
What are the implications of the Claimant not completing the DQ on time?0 -
Probably none as its heard at your court regardless
Just let them ON RECORD know you have no DQ, today, and mention it is ten days past the order of ... date and neither you nor the court had record of a DQ being served
Then, when you get to a hearing, it can be used to support unreaosnable behaviour.0 -
Thank you, the guy I spoke to today said he would make a note on the file to say I'd received no claimant DQ.0
-
If that person doesnt note it on the system, you have no record. Dont risk it.
DO as I said, and write to the court confirming the conversation that as of .. .you and court have no record of teh claimant DQ...0
