I'm also pretty certain the original two tenants were Czech, as I'd dealt with them briefly through my work. If my cousin gets in contact with them, I think they'll come back and help sort out the problem. They seemed the type who would, as they will want to keep on good business terms.
Burning doors and carpets to keep warm is not the normal behaviour of tenants who don`t get electric, they normally just move out and report the landlord?0 -
