    Morning all

Glad your first day back went well Round.

Cool here this morning but breezy, first load in washing machine with a load of towels lined up ready to go next. Dailies already done.

Starting paid stuff now, no errands to run today so will aim to fly in my break and when I finish, I will concentrate on the top floor of the house today so plan is to vac through, change bed in spare room, tidy office and s/s the bathroom. It was all done on the weekend so should be quite a quick job. When that’s done I will start assembling some of the things that I need to take this weekend in the spare room.

Have a lovely day all x

Pleased it went OK R. Here if you need support!

Yesterday was an awful day at work, just lots of things that didnt go right, I was in for over 10 hours too. One of the bosses was critical about something I did and I am trying not to take it to heart. Anyway I am taking this morning off and going in later.

So I am off to the gym in a bit, want to get the hoover out, have emptied DW and tidied kitchen. Really struggling with meal plans at the moment, just cannot think of what to cook!

Frodders I loved guinea pigs when my too had them, they are so entertaining.

    Right, got to move x

Sorry about the nightmare, Dancemum. (((Hugs)))
Glad your first day back went well, Round.
    (((Hugs))) YL.

Put a load of dog towels that were more than a bit whiffy in the WM, set it going and the heavens opened last night. Still, at least they're clean.

Today is attic day. I've been shoving stuff up there for years and today all the kitchen stuff is coming back down. OH has agreed some of it can go, including his kettle which was not needed when he moved in with me 25 years ago and has been up there ever since. At last. I don't think he understands quite why the attic is so rammed but I can't wait to get this bit of it over and done with. It'll create a huge amount of space so stuff can then be shuffled so those things we really do want to keep can be found when we need them.
    Better is good enough.

Dogs walked even though they're having a day out too, and all ironing is done.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Hello everyone

I’m back...not been around for years, but desperately need to get the house under control.

I made a start yesterday, but today has been more productive. I don’t always work on a Tuesday. 3rd load is in the WM and I’ve attacked the hall as it really needs it. I also have a major declutter project to crack on with.

Lovely to see some of the old faces are still here :hello:

  • Well done on your first day back, Round!!!

Hope today is pleasant for you, too.

I actually left the house under my own steam yesterday - got some hair dye in the hope that the plumber will come and fix the shower mixer Friday morning as they claim is happening, a sample charcoal toothpaste in the hope of getting rid of the tea stains on my gnashers (it appears to have done some good in one use) and generally being more responsible in terms of teeth due to being on humi

    Afternoon all

    SSL

Not a very productive day for me today as I woke up with a banging headache which is only just about going. Water people are here at the moment so the plumber is coming tomorrow afternoon to do the pipe work. I've washed the dishes and been to fetch some hose for the plumber. that's about it so far. I'm going to hoover in a min and DD wants picking up when the water people have gone too.

Hope today's been a good day too Roundtuit and glad I made you smile yesterday.

    Hugs
