I was up and at it early, honestly.
So far I have:
visited Mr M for the first big shop for a while
done wm x 1 and then done a washing shuffle as it rained about 15 minutes after hanging it out
cleared the ironing pile with a HHI
welcomed our new neighbours with a cup of coffee. They were yet to find their kettle....
brought DD to riding so now I can meal plan to while away the hour.
We are off to a bbq later. Really all I want to do is get a few jobs done indoors and out, and to slob out at home.0 -
ds's wardrobes cleared, moved and cleaned behind, under and on. In the process I have properly wrapped and boxed football trophies (not all of them) and sealed and labelled the box. When he moves out that's ready to go! Muhahahahaha
Bed cleared, mattress off, valance in WM now, I plan to move the bed sections and vacuum under them.
Despite my sending a very timely reminder DD hasn't sent her Uncle a card.:mad:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning :hello:
Where did everyone go? Was there a flylady bus trip that no-one told me about?
Yesterday's flying ground to a halt when my upset Dad phoned whilst I was eating my lunch. He said that he didn't want me to go round, but I ate my lunch and went round to have an hour with him otherwise I'd have been wondering all day whether he was ok or not. It's topsy-turvy: Dad ringing me in tears!
I was up at 6.30 am - seemed to have been wide awake for ages and wanted a cup of teaI set WM swishing with towels/ tea towels whilst the kettle boiled. The wash cycle has just finished - so I'd better get dressed and peg them out.
I have caught up with fbbut I also spent ages fathoming out, and eventually succeeding :T in installing, anti-virus thingy which was suddenly not installed apparently
Anyhoo - need to get some clothes on and washing out.
Hope you are all enjoying your flylady trip ….. without me

I missed the bus too, Round, if that helps.
We went to a friend’s 60th yesterday afternoon / evening. Enjoyable time has by all but there was some scary driving spotted on the way back. Since when did the speed limit increase to 100mph??
Today’s plans have already taken a battering - the morning at the allotment is currently rained off. I’m a fair weather gardener in the main, so getting soggy as well as muddy first thing is not an attractive prospect.
Guess i had better pull out a list - or 5 - to get on with then.
Back later.0 -

Yesterday afternoon I went to the hellish shopping mall with DD. She wanted new tops. She bought 1 top. And some perfume. I bought make up thanks to the excellent No 7 voucher; she also wanted an item so we combined. Free gift not available but substitutes offered. I also bought DS's birthday gift on offer and used up both my gift cards. i gazed at the fancy cakes in Godiva and went into Hotel Choc. For a look.
DS's room mostly back to normal. I swapped out his 4 gang extension lead for one with much lass wire and his floor has been vacuumed and a dirty mark mostly lifted with the steam cleaner.
Round I would have posted last night but I was shattered so didn't make the trip! Wonder if the Flylady bus is out?
On way back called into a little (new) shopping centre for sawdust from Wilk0 as the one in M/hell doesn't carry pet stuff and into Mr A for tea and stuff for today's campfire stew to test out CrockPot.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I think they all went out clubbing - on the flylady busThat would make perfect sense: disappeared in the afternoon as they were getting hair, nails, eye brows, fake tan done before getting their gladrags on; catch the bus: pre drinks, drinks, clubbing 'til 3am (or later ) then home. Now everyone is sleeping it off
(This is what DS's Dad calls 'the world of No 6' - welcome to my imagination :rotfl:)
I don't feel so bad at missing out now - I never did like clubbing
Right - pots, Round, pots.

Morning all,
Gently busy day yesterday and my only flying was laundry which all dried beautifully outside.
The dog bedding is in the WM as I type, DH is still asleep. Kiddies watching tv. Plans for today include buying some Goosebumps books for DD (wish I hadn't got rid of mine!) and a big dog walk.
Have lovely days all xx0
