Permanently disabling wifi on a smart tv

My laptop can detect the Wi-Fi from my Samsung TV even though the TV is always set to communicate with my router by ‘hard-wire’,...so I guess the TV is always Wi-Fi enabled to some degree, regardless of how it communicates with my broadband router. When doing a network scan it picks up my TVs and Firesticks so they must be transmitting.
Never really thought about it before tbh,...however, it's a bit worrying and I’m now in the market for a new suit.

The signal strength reaching your body from a device 2-3m away will be 1/1000th of that from any mobile phone or wifi gadget next to you. And it's true that sunlight is in fact radio waves in the visible spectrum + much more, and are incredibly powerful. So powerful that they can power a house from some square meters of solar panel. Amazing that we survive at all when walking outdoors!I wonder how you are reading this given that light is a more dangerous source of EM radiation?0 -
