Permanently disabling wifi on a smart tv

You would have to enter your wifi password to make the wifi work so just don't enter a password.
If you have set up wifi then change the password on your router. Used the new password with TV. Then change password back to normal on the router.
I think it will sill be attempting to communicate whether logged in or not as it will no doubt be able to display a list of all of the routers it can "see".
Unless the TV has an option to switch the WiFi off the only other options will be to remove the module (if possible and if the TV will still work) or shield and earth the aerials.
Quite what other frequencies the rest of the electronics are radiating is another matter. Also likely to be a significant UV content in the light emitted by the screen......0 -

How it is affecting your cellular and immune function which could cause cancer in areas where your immune system regulation is weak. I recognise the conditions which cause cancer and would not put myself at risk from using wireless technology. We are all being bathed in this !!!!. Terrestrial TV and Radio is lower risk but the higher the frequencies used, the higher the risk.
I mis-smelt it, it should of read "I dislike wireless tech myself....
Do mobile phones cause cancer?
"...the largest studies, which are generally more reliable than smaller ones, have shown no link with any type of cancer."

I have seen youtube videos giving information on how to disconnect the wifi module on a particular model of Samsung smart tv. I was wondering if this can be done of other tv's too?
Do smart tv's generally have a separate wifi module which can be disconnected without any ill effects to the tv? Are there many models where the wifi emitter is hard wired to the main board? Has anyone tried this with success and if so, on which smart tv models?0 -
Even if you turn your own wireless off, you'll definitely have everyone else's running through your body, from your neighbours, the tv signals, mobile signals, and the earths normal radiation, the sun etc etc.
I suggest you move to the other end of our flat earth to escape?
Anyway, do you need to remove the wireless completely - if it's not enabled, is it emitting anything?0 -

It will also be attracting all kinds of high frequency radiated signals from huge terrestrial transmitters and masts or even worse, from satellites thousands of miles away in space which could be interfered with by extra-terrestrials or Russian ne'er do wells. Best to get rid of this dangerous contraption altogether for peace of mind.0 -
There are no even possible health effects from non-ionising WiFi radiation, and there's literally no point trying to prevent signals inside your house given that your neighbors' signals are already doing so.

No, they have not. The type of radiation emitted by mobile phones and WiFi devices is non-ionising and not even capable of causing cellular damage.

I'm trying to think of a sensible answer to the question .. but I can't.
Buy the tv and enjoy it.0 -
My Hitachi TV under Settings/Network Settings asks for password and if "on" you can "Turn Off."0
