Permanently disabling wifi on a smart tv

I am interested in buying a smart tv but I would like to permanently stop all wifi emissions from it and use an ethernet cable to connect to the internet. I have seen youtube videos giving information on how to disconnect the wifi module on a particular model of Samsung smart tv. I was wondering if this can be done of other tv's too?
Do smart tv's generally have a separate wifi module which can be disconnected without any ill effects to the tv? Are there many models where the wifi emitter is hard wired to the main board? Has anyone tried this with success and if so, on which smart tv models?

You would have to enter your wifi password to make the wifi work so just don't enter a password.
If you have set up wifi then change the password on your router. Used the new password with TV. Then change password back to normal on the router.0 -
I would think that there would be some options screen which might allow the wifi to be disabled. I dislike wired tech myself, I will not use mobile phones and would not have wifi running because of adverse health effects. I do not use wireless routers, mine is wired ethernet. I have for a short time used a wireless router and was very quick to disable the wifi/wireless. My PC motherboard supports some form of wireless but I did not fit the wireless module when I built it. I do not want that !!!! bathing me in dangerous EM radiation.
Just a thought. It might be worth downloading the instruction manuals for different TV's to see if the options screen can disable it.
Opening the case would invalidate the warranty so is not really an option. I wouldn't think that it was an easily detachable module.0 -
Emmisions then the question is .
Does a TV wireless chip transmit when not logged in .
Some TV settings may well have a wifi off switch .
But again does the chip emit ??0 -

I wonder how you are reading this given that light is a more dangerous source of EM radiation?0 -

With the Samsung example I mentioned, it seems the wifi module continued to emit radiation even when the wifi was disabled in the software so some tv's would need to have the module removed.0

Can you recommend a good place to get tin foil hats?0 -
Generally TV's look for built in facilities when booting up, if you remove or hardware disable a device it is likely the TV will refuse to boot up.0
