In para #10 they don't deny that the van says "Road Safet Unit" However, in order to weasel their way out of liability for breach of the DPA, they claim that their signs say "Traffic Compliance Cameras" and so whatever is wrote in the side of the van gives them some kind of immunity.

In para 10 they are equivocal about whether or not the 'ticketing van' is theirs. If either of @Fruitcake's or @KeithP's photo has been used, how can VCS deny it being their vehicle, as their logo is writ large on the van door, and the go-faster stripes along the lower bodywork are in VCS corporate colours!

Their new WS adds nothing but do object to it at the hearing.  This WS is too late and attempts to change their story.

Surely you just object at the hearing, before the judge starts the process (if they let you) by saying you have an important matter to discuss and then go on to say that the recent WS from the claimant was submitted late/out of time and attempts to 1) add new evidence and/or 2) attempts to change the claimant's story.

Hearing completed. Firstly, I want to express my gratitude to all of you for your support!

The judge ruled that I am required to pay £320 (which appears to be £160 per PCN, although I'm not entirely sure), in addition to an extra £32.60 (2.5% interest). Furthermore, an additional £179 is to be paid for legal and other fees on top of the aforementioned amounts.

I put forth my utmost effort to present my objections, particularly concerning the issue with the bus stop. Regrettably, the judge did not find my arguments convincing. The judge was convinced that the signage was clear, thus concluding that I breached the contract.

I'm somewhat uncertain as to whether I can view this as a partial victory. The reason being that I wasn't given ample opportunity to discuss my expenses during the hearing. The judge predominantly focused on querying the claimant regarding this matter, which feels somewhat one-sided. To confirm my understanding, I will await the arrival of the judgment order through the mail.
