Nbs222, have you also given IWEB the PX accounts? If not you should do.

The PX accounts on statements are called Account Alias with a pre fix U account number underneath I suspect the U number is the actual account, but they are all interlinked and ITI know this.

The 'U' account is the account reference given by Interactive Brokers when the account is set up. The PX account is ITI own internal reference and was kept on from their legacy platform.

That's what I believe to be the case too (IB user is "U" and the rest of the umpteen numbers (SC/PX/ititi) are ITI's)

    GeorgieC / My2p

I have only given the SC, PX account numbers for my transfers, when I realised there was also a U account I am now concerned  I should also give this.

So is it not necessary to give the U account number???

Since you have no interaction with Interactive Brokers then effectively the 'U' account is redundant. ITI will always work with the PX account reference. Internally ITI should be able to identify you under either...

can you get my holdings transferred to Iweb
  • Today I received a letter in the post from iWeb which I find extraordinary, particularly the last paragraph.  Has anyone else received the same letter?:

    Your Transfer from ITI Limited
    Dear xxxxx
I write in response to your request to transfer your account from ITI Limited to ourselves.

I need to inform you that we are experiencing ongoing difficulties in progressing transfers with ITI Limited due to them not responding in a timely fashion to our requests for information.

We wanted to take this opportunity to update you about this to ensure we're accurately setting your expectations and we will of course continue to contact ITI Limited until we receive a response to your individual request to transfer.

We would be grateful if you could also chase ITI Limited to expedite your request sooner.

    Yours sincerely
