Pangasius is also called Vietnamese river Cobbler. I first found it (plain frozen fillets) in Farmfoods. Have since bought it in other supermarkets with and without batter coating. Cheap & nutricious, if a bit bland, so add your flavours (green Thai etc.) and fine if you don`t overcook.0

Is there a market near where you live....when my son and his family lived in Holland I came across some very nice fish in markets, also some good fishmongers... you will find that most people speak some English and ask for advice on what is best value and how to cook it...

Ha ha, we have a pangasius in our aquarium....little did we know he'd grow sooo big, 8 years and three fish tanks later he's now 16 inches :eek:
Lucky for him we are vegetarian, so he's safe (although, I must admit the comments make me think he wouldn't be that good to eat anyway :rotfl:)
