Parking Ticket

Options
Hi I need help please. I received a letter from DRP saying that I had parked over the time limit in a Mcdonald's car park and they wanted £160. I did not receive any of the original letters as I moved house recently and only just changed my details with the DVLA.
I did the school boy error and rang them up to explain I had moved and not had any previous letters from uk Parking Control. I read others feeds saying do not ring! After I had already rang them! They said I could pay a reduced fee of £129 if I paid by midnight that day. I was not willing to pay them then I received a second letter saying thank you for my communication!!
Then to resolve the matter why the following comments as why PCN was correctly issued and is still payable:
The signs in the area
The vehicle was parked longer that the time limit.
They are now requesting £160 by the 5th of August do I have to pay this amount to DRP because i've made contact??
Any help would be much appreciated thank you very much before hand.

    No, ignore drp

Email a SAR to the DPO at UKPC asap and get copies of all documents and pictures and data about you and your vehicle, also inform them of your correct address as well as a data rectification notice

Attach a copy of this drop letter as proof of ID under GDPR

google = What is a SAR request?

A subject access request (SAR) is simply a written request made by or on behalf of an individual for the information which he or she is entitled to ask for under section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). The request does not have to be in any particular form.

    ;)

That and many other commonly used abbreviations are explained in post #5 of the NEWBIES thread.

I complained to the manager he said he could not do anything as it's a private parking company. If i would have rung him up straight away he would have been able to do something but as the ticket was issued in May he's unable to do anything now.
