Avro refund
Has anyone else had a problem getting their balance refunded after changing supplier via Martin's Cheap Energy Club?
I know the move has been finalised as I've had the cashback.
I chased it up on the 10th July to be assured that the final bill would be with me within 3 working days and the balance in my account 10-15 days. Nothing.
Rang again and have been assured, yes the message was sent before, he'd send it again and, guess what, final bill within 3 working days etc.
I was quite happy with Avro until I changed suppliers. But I am really finding this frustrating and would like the balance in my account back. All it says on my account online is can I give them upto date meter readings. But they had the final ones months ago,

I switched from Avro on 26th June, so my 6 weeks will be up early August. Haven't had a final bill etc, as OP says online account is just carrying on asking for up-to-date readings and the usual monthly bill was produced on 11th July as if I were still with them. I'm sure if I wait I will get the refund but they don't seem very reliable. I'll report back if and when I receive anything.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Got the final bill today and surprise surprise, it agrees exactly with the figures in my spreadsheet. They say the refund will be processed this week but that it could take another 10 working days to arrive. I guess they are just covering themselves, but it really shouldn't take that long these days. Anyway, will wait and see but it's progress.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums.
