Sounds like the shark is an excellent investment. Well done :)

    I think it's going to be.:D

    I felt like you.
    I love it.

Who'd have thought I'd be excited about vacuuming.

Do you have to apologise to all the teddies as you peg them up by their ears. I used to use it as a mock threat with the boys, 'If you don't do/stop doing xyz, I will peg you on the washing line by your ears'. Made them giggle and stop arguing/ do what was requested.

By the way you have to be very careful about using the 'C' word as Father C-r-s-m-s has to shoot an elf every time someone says the C word before November.
Oops, I said it twice earlier. Sorry elves.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mothernerd, I do love your signature. Thought provoking.

I'm feeling a bit popped today. The treatment has affected me more than usual this time so I don't think I will achieve much today.

I do need to so a shop this morning and I may go and buy a sack of potatoes later. Rock and roll eh.:rotfl:

Perhaps it's a good day for diary catch up as I'm behind and I'm very nosey.;)

It's really strange at the moment with all the decluttering and throwing out. I can see a difference but I'm noticing more and more things which need doing. It's a good thing but at times is overwhelming with the hours of work ahead of me. It has been easier though since I've stopped strict planning and taken the pressure off.

I still want it all done by Christmas though.;)

    Right off to shop now.

You are doing great Parsniphead. I know what you mean about seeing more to be done. Now my clutter is going I can see the skirtings and paint work. Very shabby but previously not noticed by me at all. My internal doors have just been ignored for more time than I will admit here...

You are going in the right direction for sure.

To be honest I think it applies to everyone. When 'stuff' is there a long time our eyes skim over it. When things get moved out eyes notice the change and take in the muck! :o:o

I too would like a photo of the teddies on the line. I was disappointed to look up shark vacuum and find it just looked normal with no special shark head or anything...

    Morning all

There is going to be no unexpected spending from me for the next few days as I've lost my bank card. It's probably in the house somewhere but I've cancelled it and ordered another. This comes on the same day as rediscovering my purse after I put it away somewhere and forgot where it was.:o My memory is getting dreadful.

I'm not up to speed at the moment and have. Been feeling quite iffy. I was stuck at husband's family party last night. I'm not sociable to be honest and have nothing in common with them. I was stuck inside because of the constant smoking which I detest at the best of times but am particularly sensitive at the moment. I was only expecting to have to stay a couple of hours when DH announced at three o clock that we were staying until about 8.30 pm. I was really p1ssed of and had to spend most of the time sitting alone. Sorry for the rant but I'm not a happy bunny after spending so many hours surrounded by drunk people.

    And breathe.

I'm just going to potter today. I'm not in the mood for doing much to be honest. Well the body is not playing ball really. I'm going to try to catch up on washing but it's been raining all morning again. I've been double spinning stuff just to get things a bit dryer.

I may have a little sort out of my draws and throw out some holey tops. :T Most of my t-shirts are holey to be honest though. I may pop to somewhere cheap on payday to replace some. I'm also down to one pair of jeans.

Anyway hopefully you all have a great day and it stays dry.

I would have been naffed off too. Hope you had a peaceful day to recuperate. I only have one pair of jeans and need to shrink to do them up lol. One day soon hopefully. Hope you find some nice ones when you go shopping.
