Love the idea of a kichen sitting unused under the stairs and the kitchen given over to crafting instead. Yay for crafters. Sewing is the one craft I struggle with... I've been tempted by a sewing machine but the last time I used one was at school when I was about 10 and it seemed complicated at the time. I kid you not, my mum has/had an antique handle singer type one - black and gold

I have a singer hank crank sewing too. Plus a si get treadle and two modern electric ones...Oh and two overlockers. :o Mmm and I wonder why I'm cluttered.

Anyway a quick visit while I'm doing housework. I was vacuuming with the new vac..:eek::eek: and emptied it again. Then I put old henry away after emptying his bag. Then I decided to weigh the carrier bag of shame. Now please be aware I've not vacuumed the spare bedroom or the front/sewing room yet as basically there is little floor room with clutter.

So far in 14 days I have a grand total of

1lb 9ozs of filth and dust.

Oh the shame. I can partly blame henry as I did vacuum three times before the new vac arrived but still :o:o:o.

Anyway my mojo is back a little today so more cleaning and clearing before heading out for the new addition, Charlie's new hamster. I know I shouldn't be spending but he has been such an angel getting rid of stuff he deserves a treat.

Anyway as I scuttle off red faced and embarrassed I bid you goodbye for now. :rotfl:

Wow, it's scary how much there is! I dread to think what mine would be like, it's always so dusty!

I know what you mean. My house is always really dusty whatever I do. I'm hoping with the superduper vac it will get less and less.

Not much being done today. I'm not in the best of moods. I think maybe its due to it being a year exactly that I was diagnosed and dragged into hospital. I should see the positive side but it feels a little unreal to be honest.

I'm also having one of those days where I have to s of stuff to do, I can see what needs doing but I can't find the motivation or decide where to start.

I think I may have the back to work next Monday blues.;)

I'm going to come back on later with some positive moves. I can't waste a whole day.

    Chin up PH :)

You are bound to be a bit wobbly today.

Be kind to yourself. One day off attacking the house won't harm (( ))

  • A new hoover :j You're a girl after my own heart Parsnip. I have wood floors, a dog that sheds for England and a number of vacuum cleaners that failed to live up to expectations. A new purchase is on the cards for me too and I'm hoping my search for the Holy Grail of vacuums will then be over :rotfl:

I don't have to worry about moulting dogs and the cats are all gone now. Just a small hamster who I think won't make too much mess. All his fur would probably fill a dessertspoon.

I became a bit obsessed with vacs. It's quite a thing, collectors and all sorts. Reviews on YouTube. I've watched some really weird rubbish recently.

Not much done today apart from washing. At least I have an empty basket, well I did until DS's PJ's were put on.

Anyway I'm popped now. It's been a strange old day. Something to eat, some meditation then bed.

    Speak tomorrow.

    Morning all

A wet, miserable day here. I've got a few things planned which I want to do.

I've been thinking about debts. They have been increasing over the last year due to the circumstances and I really want to start to get on top on them again. I'm going to start with the smallest one again so I will work out the exact figure and target date later and put it in my signature. I'm planning on doing the next one debt v's 100 days challenge me I was going to use this one but I will make a start anyway.

Time to get organised so I will be back later.

    Have a good day.
