Thank you all for you lovely comments.
I think I'm on a decluttering snowball. I'm taking a large pile of stuff to the local air ambulance headquarters tomorrow then I will start again. I can't believe my DS, he keeps coming to me with things for the poor children. Bless him.
I do feel like a weight is being lifted with every bag/item got rid of. I just need to make sure it doesn't become obsessive as I have a bit of an addictive personality.
I'm almost at the point where I would be a little more comfortable with visitors to the house.....I did say almost though.;).
At least vacuuming is becoming less and less of a chore.
Right I'm just going to pop out some washing and put away the dry then it's time for my meditation/relaxation session.
Night all and thank you all so much for your support.:T1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Aww bless your DS
Thanks beanielou, he is mostly and angel. He now wants to go through his old teddies to get rid of some..:j
Well it's been a busy morning. Blood test and the eight bags of kids clothes to the air ambulance. I thought I would be really emotional but I just feel like a weight has been lifted.:j
I have decided how to sort my finances finally. I have a few accounts so I'm going to.....
Tsb current account - I will leave in money for DD's and move other money elsewhere.
Monza - Have separate pots for annual expenses, Christmas, birthdays, etc. I will work out exact amounts for each pot and feed them on pay day.
NatWest current account - All other monthly spending such as food, petrol, utilities, etc
Credit union - This will initially be for emergency fund of £1000 then once debts are paid I will build up to 3-6 months expenses.
I'm going to fill dinner money envelopes on pay day for the whole month the put them to one side.
I've been on this site long enough to have this done but always struggled. I feel I now have a plan I can work too.
Anyway more bits to hunt down. Have a fab day all. X1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

So great to hear you sounding really positive. :j :j :AI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Hi parsniphead
Hugs re dealing with chemo and all the rest of it. You sound like you are doing amazing to me. Well done on all the decluttering - great when it goes to a good cause. Your DS sounds sweet. I get what you mean about addictive personality - I think I can be that way too.
On my emergency fund - It had been around £2K when DS depleted it - so I still have at least £1K for emergencies.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thank you Chrystal and savingholmes.
I think sometimes you just have to decide to be positive. I'm not always though, but I'm not allowed to be grumpy on here.:D
I think my DS had had a personality transplant. Up until recently he never wanted to get rid of anything and I was worried he had my hoarder personality but this evening he has given me a pile of orchard toys games to donate. I did ask if I could take them to work for the SEN students but he wants them to go to charity, particularly Barnardoes.
After an hour under his bed  I have two bin bags of bits, plastic !!!! really. Anyway I'm going to check for anything which is important then just bin the rest. I have bags of stuff in the cellar from his younger years which have not been touched in years. I'll check for donateable stuff the chuck the rest.
I have seen a bumbo in the cellar which I'm going to try and sell. He only ever sat in it once and hated it. I also have two prams, a car seat and a buggy to clean up and then see who wants them.
It's amazing the difference all the decluttering is making. I used to spend so much time trying to tidy and clean around all the carp but get nowhere. It's starting to get so much easier now.:j
I didn't ever thing I would become houseproud but I could imagine it now.
Anyway time to fetch the washing in and put it away.
Tomorrow is boring chemo afternoon so I will spend the morning entertaining the little fella. I don't think there will be any decluttering.
Have a fantastic evening everyone.:T1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%
