An, thank you all for your lovely comments.

I don't have much to report as this morning has been spent with DS at soft play. Oh the long of wee in those places. This afternoon I popped to the local shopping centre and while I was there picked up a new winter coat for DS. :j All the uniform shopping is now done. :j

Tonight I'm going to trim the hedge before it goes wild again.

I'm still working on budgets and this needs to be done before payday on Wednesday. I'm going back to my [STRIKE]tight [STRIKE][STRIKE][STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE] frugal ways. I have slipped loads recently.

I've been using the Calm app recently. It's really helped with my insomnia. I have three free guest passes which last a month so if anyone wants one PM me and I will forward one.

Anyway time to crack on. Have a fab day all. :T

    Thank you all.:D

Ok, this is going to be a strange post but stay with me.;) For some strange reason, no actually while I was researching vacuum cleaners, I became a bit obsessed by a couple of vacuum collectors on YouTube particularly Ibaisaic and hooverlux. Yes I know it's odd but it is what it is. Anyway Ibaisaic did this video about vacuum of the month using the same one all month then weighing what was picked up. This man's house is spotless, I mean almost clinical and he was getting between 95 and 330 grams of dust over the month. So my mind got to wondering yesterday........I wondered how much my old Henry would get in a month here (probably about 15lbs ;). I detest vacuuming so it's not done as often as it should.:o Today I've decided on a big floor declutter and a new bag in henry tomorrow to see what I get over August. I will post my result shamefacedly at the end of next month. This is going to be interesting. I'm planning on vacuuming every other day downstairs and once a week for the stairs and upstairs. Oh I forgot to say he uses the dusting brush a lot too for pictures, skirting, etc so I have to remember that too.. Whatever happens the house is going to look better and as I continue to declutter new dusty/hairy areas will be revealed.

Can someone please explain what's wrong with me.:rotfl:

Right a few jobs today, a final tweak of augusts budgets and more Christmas planning (I want it shopped for by the end of October and wrapped if possible).

Have a fab day everyone. X

  • I also hate vacuuming so have stone floors don't mind using a sweeping brush for some reason. You are doing so well.

I don't mind sweeping either Heatherweed. I will sweep wood and quarry floors but vac up the pile to keep my experiment honest.

  • Do you have any pets Parsniphead? I find that sweeping carpets first with a hand brush gets up the majority of shed pet hair, then I hoover afterwards. Seems to have the best result!

Thoughts are one thing, but this level of Christmasness is not allowed and I have reported you to the moderators.
