Good morning all and best wishes for the coming years.

As I said last night I paid off my smallest card last night which was good.:j Im planning on hitting the next debt hard and was planning the Lloyds one but as it's still interest free I've decided to attack the Tesco one as I've realised as it's increased quickly over the last few months the interest last month was £45 .

This cannot go on, this amount is huge. I'm going to see if I can transfer it into a 0% deal, if not it's got to be my major focus. It's half my loan amount and more than double the interest.

I forgot to tell you all my card was cloned a couple of months ago and since then I've been scared to use it which has resulted in a reduction in spending and saving a couple of hundred last month. See I can do it.;). To be fair Tee s b picked up on the transactions immediately so I didn't lose any money but it's still unnerved me.

Today I'm working on the front/craft room as it's dire. It's going to take a while but it needs doing.

Anyway I must get done and I'm not sitting watching Harold and Maude.

    Have a great day.

Happy New Year Parsnip. Well done on paying off a debt right at the end of the year. Good luck with clearing the next one. Having a card cloned sounds scary!! but glad you used it to cut down your spending.

    Hello all

Last few days off and I'm trying to muster some energy to get some decluttering done. The spirit is willing but the body is very weak.

My last lot of chemo has really knocked me around and I've hardly moved in the past two weeks resulting in my fitness levels getting even worse. I REALLY need to start building myself up again or at this rate I will be zipping around in a shop rider.

As well as focussing on the debts at the moment I have decided my second focus is getting back to my Uber frugal ways of the past. I need to check things I have before buying anything. I have loads of food stuff, DIY stuff, etc. We also only have 6 months of payments left on the car, mine coming to about £260. It would be nice to get rid of that.

Oh and if something goes wrong, is the curtain falling off a hook, it will be fixed immediately. My curtain has been off a hook for months and it's irritating. Oh and the bathroom basin has been cracked for what seems like an eternity. DS said he's going to get a new one next weekend.

I would also like Fridays to be my 'Do it day'. Depending on the state of me I will do one job or maybe two or three small ones. I would also like to visit the tip once a month. I love the tip. I could also do with a regular charity shop day but since the one locally closed and I rarely go to the local town it's difficult. I do have a leaflet for a man who will collect almost anything for free. He then recycles or sells stuff on. I may use him as it's easier for me but I need a big enough pile to make it worthwhile.

One other thing I've decided to do is start wearing my wig again. My hair has come back and is a few inches long but I can't do anything with it. I feel so crap physically and would feel more confident looking nicer. Plus I got a few looks and comments from fellas when I wore it, none when I had my own, flat hair so that's a confidence boost.;):rotfl:

Anyway time for food, bath and then putting the table back up in the craft room. Have a fab weekend.
