Half to debt & half to emergency fund?

Good idea. I think a chunk may go towards stuff for DS's cubs camp next week though.

The bed people are on the way. I've been up since six moving the last bits, cleaning and decluttering which is what I intend to do while they build it. It takes about three hours apparently. Mind you I've already done loads this morning, more than I've done in weeks.

DH has just gone to take DS to school so the house is empty for a few minutes. Bliss. s soon as he is back or the bed folks arrive I'm going to attack the kitchen and bathroom. Then it's the big job I've been putting off...the front room which is like a hell put.

I would like to turn the front room into a proper dining room. I've seen a lovely heavy table and chairs set in the local hospice shop which I may go and look at. Very solid, not like the new stuff today. That's if it's still there. But nothing can be done until the room is empty.

Anyway a define day of pootling around getting stuff done and it's sunny.:D

Have a fab day all. X

Great about your mum sharing her PPI money with you :)

The plans for a dining room sound lovely. I hope you get the table/chairs.

If the tables and chairs are still there then you could maybe pay a deposit and the shop could hang onto them for a couple of weeks.

    Hope bed goes well.

    Hello all.

Its been a while. My health has been a bit iffy and work is wearing me out to be honest.

Everything is a bit of a mess, particularly my house. It doesn't help that my motivation is missing in action. I've decided to come back on here to try and refocus my mind.

I have an appointment with a nutritionist on Monday. She beat cancer 20 odd years ago not just by traditional methods but by diet and exercise. I'm looking forward to reinventing myself and actually feeding my body properly and hopefully gaining some energy.

Washing is another issue. I just can't get on top of it. Mind you if it stopped widdling it down for a time it would help.

Anyway scouts drop off tonight then a bit off tidying.

Have a fab night all. X

Thanks both. I'm hoping the nutritionist is going to give me the boost I need.

Unfortunately we've not had a launderette around here since I was a girl. I should be able to get caught up over the weekend if I get organised.

I've just come back from the farm shop with a sack of potatoes. That should keep me going for a while. I have to pop DH to the dentist soon but when I come back I'm going to have a is tidy and declutter.

Everything is a bit of a struggle at the moment as I have fluid coming back on my lungs. Its causing a lot of problems with my breathing which is wiping me out but the oncologists have said it's not bad enough for a drain yet. They really need to be in my body when I'm gasping. When I do have a drain though it's back to full on chemo again though.

I have a bunch of fabrics and very simple sewing patterns. I'm going to try and have a go this weekend. I've had to come to terms with the fact my hands don't work like they used to so I'm back to beginner level. Its a pain but I'm frustrated with not being able to do stuff.

Anyway enough of my grumbling, I need to get on.

    Have a fantastic day. X
