One of the reasons neutrals like me are essentially indifferent to Brexit is that compared to the utter economic, moral and national catastrophe of a racist, crypto-Nazi Labour government, the consequences of Brexit are simply trivial.0

If we leave and re-join so be it,lets leave first though.
Unfortunately that means giving up the deal we have now. No Euro, No Schengen, a negotiated rebate, more vetoes & opt outs than any other member.
We already have the best deal of any EU member & we would never get it back if we had to go cap in hand to rejoin.0 -

Completely agree. Some remainers think that things won't go well for us and in a few year we will look to re-join but they're ignoring the fact that we won't be able to get back in on these terms so we will likely stay out permanently. Perhaps the nonsense peddled by leavers about the EU needing us more than we need them has drip fed into their brains.
One thing that I am looking forward to once we're out is not having to listen to leavers moaning that we haven't left yet. It's a constant subject on my Facebook feed but I don't respond because I'm utterly bored with it. They see no possible downside to leaving so I'm sure that they'll be quiet once we are on our own.0 -

Looks like we'll soon see if the membership fee was worth it.
I think it'll turn out that it probably was. If I'm wrong, we get a bit better off. If I'm right we get a lot worse off. But it's interesting that no-one is talking of Brexit bonuses any more, just damage limitation.0 -

I’m pretty sure that JRM said that we would see the financial benefit in time but that’s maybe 50 years away. 2069 will be a good year for me. Not only will we see things improve financially but I’ll get my telegram from the monarch.0
