  • i know but what can go wrong?

even without the wii ( if that didnt turn up) the phone is worth £300 aint it?

sell it for 200 odd and i will have 200 mins 400 texts for maybe 100 notes?

Quite a lot, just read some of the posts on this and the many other forums. Many people have lost out when these wonderful offers don't pay up as they advertised. Or put in conditions that are impossible or move the goalposts after you sign up. Or eventually they go bust and you are the one that's out of pocket. Need I say more? Yes there are a few good deals, but there are a hell of a lot of 'cowboys' out there. Beware.

    Good Luck

  • I'd take a look at the Dial-a-mobile, mobilephonesonthweb, cool new mobile, phonebox direct threads first!

All have recently gone into administration, leaving many people (including myself ) in the brown stuff.

    Just be careful.

  • I anm really upset and peeved by the above company

I took out a 12 month t mobile contract (£25 a month ) with free viewty and wii

suprise suprise they come back and say credit card details are wrong and to reorder

goes to reorder and yes the price plan has gone etc put it up to more expensive ones eg 35 quid for 18 months

I feel I have been ripped off here because I know all details were right as I have took a screen dump of every part of the transaction including credit card details

I am going to get in touch with trading standards because i feel i should have the opportunity of having the same deal that i purchased in the first place

ANYBODY GOT ANY ADVICE IN THIS SITUATION?

Thanks for looking and would appreciate as much advice as possible

You will be wasting your time, and wasting Trading Standards time as well (which is worse as we all have to pay for TS!).

You also seem to have wasted MSE members time as well. You already asked us for advice over this deal, but seem to have ignored the advice you were given.
  • yea there was nothing wrong with advice given-nobody had been ripped by this company so i went ahead

this is a matter of changing the deal as they had made a mistake

    Anyone can make a mistake.

    No-one got hurt.

    You weren't ripped off.

You were advised not to touch them with a bargepole, that they were only newly registered, to be careful and that lots could go wrong.

    So you went ahead???

which they are entiled to do. sorry, you don't seem to have much of an argument.
:p It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt
