Am possibly being a bit thick here, but does that mean if i kept clicking on the google ad links for the 'fake' CCCS then it would cost them lots and it would be taken down till they next pay? Or is that a bit naive?
Anything to help the cause!!!!!0 -

You're spot on!
We're not too sure whether each click costs them or say one per person per day but half a dozen goes a day is worth it for the effort it takes!0 -
Just tried to 'request a callback' and put a phone number in that they probably wouldn't like to phone and was told they can only help me if i have unsecured debts of over £50k.
Edit: oops just didt it again with a different number for the same organisation and it said thanks we will be contacting you soon.
Tee hee hee!0 -
I was thinking of doing the callback thing and giving numbers of taxi firms and takeaways with stupid names like Ivor Biggun! :rotfl:0

We haven't fully worked out the rules that google ad link applys...yet!! The current thinking is that more than a couple of "click thru's" from the same IP address (PC) will stop it counting as a chargeable link.
What we do know is that once the spend limit for the period has been reached google or whoever will stop publishing the sponsored link. If we all click through once and that saves some poor sole from falling into the trap, then it has to be worth while, until we can find a more permanant solution.
Every little helps..Now where have I heard that before??0 -

Are we also gonna have to click through Yahoo aswell as I'd assume they have a seperate budget for that? :think:0 -
I thought about that too but it's not fair on them. The name Irma Kuunt might help though. I used SFO numbers.0

SFO numbers?
Why don't we use the numbers of other fee charging sites? :rotfl:0 -
