Help. Booked package holiday with Expedia, hotel demanding extra money for child.

Hi.

Have just arrived in Turkey for a holiday booked with Expedia.
The Expedia site needs you to select how many adults and how many under 17s travelling. I selected 3 adults and 1 child age 16.
The site then displayed holidays that matched my criteria. I selected the holiday I was interested in and the site then shows the price PER PERSON.
I continue to followd the process to book until I have paid and receive the summary details, including the cost.
Now I arrive at the resort and the hotel are demanding extra money for my child who they regard as an adult.
It's Expedia's fault to miscalculate the price and advertise the holiday PER PERSON.
I think this is not right that i am being asked to pay another 650 euros when it's not my fault.
I contacted Expedia via email and they say I should pay the extra cost, but it's not my error, so why should I?

Can anyone offer advice/comments please.

    Thanks.
I did via their support but they have replied simply suggesting I pay up.
I have replied this is non sense and they quoted prices per person and on that basis I made the booking etc.
    Waiting to hear back.
    Not impressed with Expedia !

Did you pay 4 x the price per person or 3?

I paid for 4. The flights, shuttle transfer etc is all based on 4.
The itenerary shows 4 travellers. 3 adults and 1 child as per the selection criteria on Expedia.

They show the total cost in the summary document, but show the cost per person during the booking process. Not.once does it.mentuon that the child will have to pay extra at the hotel.
    Damn sneaky Expedia.
    Be careful!
But I am not going to pay.

They are asking for 650 euros extra. If the local hotel policy is different then Expedia should calculate the cost accordingly.
    The cost per person was shown as £820 and I paid 4 X £820 = £3280.

So as you have apparently paid full price for four adults based on the per person costing, on what basis are the hotel requesting more money?
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Hotel management are saying that a 16 year old is classed as an adult.
Which I don't mind. Fair enough but Expedia should have known that and calculated the cost accordingly, not leave me having to face the demands from the hotel when I check in to pay another 650 euros.
    That's not on,
