Looks to me you may have missed a great opportunity to take the place into the 21century if it was as bad as you say it was on process and procedures.
Telling people you may have to work with you are still in a probation period is perfectly reasonable so they can make the necessary allowances..0 -
Attack is never a good form of defence in a disciplinary, and stating something is common practice also won't help (unfair I know). You've misused company assets in a position of trust, simple as that. If you were a long term employee then maybe it wouldn't have been taken so far but as it stands you handed them an easy excuse.
As others have said, focus your efforts on securing a new role, you won't get your old one back.0 -
The way I'm reading this - you used a company computer to look for a job, you then used the company computer to apply for the job? Is correct?
I'm guessing you didn't do this in work time, or did you? Is it a laptop you can use at home maybe?
If you wanted to leave and were actively looking, then I understand their 'can't be trusted' comment, you could have confidential information and move to a competitor etc.
I also don't know how you know the CEO doesn't like your boss, it can't be that bad or she would be out, especially if a CEO wanted her out - or are you relying on the 'gossip' that you are saying happens.
I would concentrate on looking - in your own time, with your own computer - for a job.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

i put my hands up to the former point. what i did was send my cv to my hone email address. they said that i hadn't updated it and that made me a liar. they said that i was defrauding a potential future employer. the reason the emil was quarantined was because the cv contained personal information.
the ceo doesnt like her, she told me herself. in fact they are replacing her with a new co sec in sept ans she is being moved sideways. she told me herself. i have been told by otgers that she is in over her head, and that the job is too much for her. shes very unorganised, and spends her day shouting at people0 -
Your employment has ended. Nothing for you to see or do here. Learn from the experience and just move on.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Why on earth did you not keep your head down and be part of the new order when Co. Sec was replaced.
Problem with using company email for job hunting activities that early is it tags you as not that smart very hard to recover from.0 -
Blimey, your written English is *terrible*. For starters, the word is *disorganized/sed*, not *unorganized/sed*. I'm amazed you were employed at all. And what are you doing that every word at the beginning of the sentence, is in small case?0

Just to be clear - in a conversation with a new employee, the CEO has stated that they don't like the new employee's manager and that said manager is being moved. I'm finding this a little tricky to believe...i have been told by otgers that she is in over her head, and that the job is too much for her.
These are just their opinions - not relevant to you.0 -
OP, think about what you want and focus your efforts and thoughts in that direction. Even before your dismissal you wanted a new job, so go and get one0

I don't think so. I think the OP's boss has herself told the OP that the CEO doesn't like her (the OP's boss). Not very clearly expressed for a trainee Co Sec.
And what sort of bank is this?0
