Bought an item on promotion price, item delivered, now price changed. Do I have to return or do they

They would have had T&C's on the .co.uk site as well. Probably something like:Each voucher collected can only be used once. Customers may be able to collect some vouchers more than once, however, customers may not collect and use a voucher more than 10 times and may not use more than one of the same voucher in a single order.
Vouchers must not be used in conjunction with any other promotional discounts.
Because thats whats showing on all current voucher offers.
ETA - Also, not sure arguing them dispatching/charging means a contract was formed. They seem to have charged a different price than what was offered, which would amount to a counter offer (which destroys the original offer) rather than acceptance as the terms of acceptance need to exactly match that of the offer.
In addition, dispatch has no effect on a finding of unilateral mistake - the whole point of unilateral mistake is that it renders the contract void ab initio - void from the beginning/it was never valid. You NEED to have a contract in order to have a finding of unilateral mistake.
If the mistake is less obvious then once dispatched, they wouldn't be able to cancel. But unilateral mistake is a game changer. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I don’t understand the whole “this promotion wasn’t applicable on amazon.co.uk” deal.
If it wasn’t then why was it showing on the U.K. version of the website? And if it really was a mistake then why are the customers out there who received bulk orders at the low price (promotion applied)?
I ordered these rolls too and I didn’t for a second think that it was a mistake, I just thought it was a terrific deal.
Many people are having issues with their order but there are many people who have received theirs with no problems whatsoever.
Not entirely sure what the actual issue is but people are being told different things and I’ve not actually heard from anyone that they’ve been told by amazon it was a pricing error.
I hope amazon honour these orders.0 -
Just read the op’s first post, ok so they were told it was a pricing error but this isn’t consistent with what others are being told. If it was a pricing error then they should make that clear to everyone who ordered these rolls, very unfair that some get theirs at the promotional price and others do not.0

I suspect that if you ordered 1 pack then there was no problem - the offer was for your first Subscribe and Save order; if you ordered 10 packs then they probably didn't intend the offer to apply for multiple packs in the same first order.0

For anyone interested. I have been issued refund and they honoured the offer price. It came down to them accepting the sale had been agreed on the promotion price when the dispatch had occurred. They quoted their own terms and conditions on this aspect and then realised mine was already delivered. Thanks to everyone who helped and offered advice. You've saved me £2000
