Bought an item on promotion price, item delivered, now price changed. Do I have to return or do they

OP, you know the situation. Whats the point of this thread?
Either return the goods or challenge it. Itll be easier and better for you if amazon offer the customer service route so.
Not a great position to be in. You either challenge it and risk being charged full price for a load of toilet roll you dont like or get bullied by amazon and return for a full refund.... what ya gonna do?
Will see how it goes. Was worth the hassle if I get the deal done. Just was worried the script reading first contact would try it on and wanted to know if they are trying to pull wool over our eyes.0 -

Thanks again!
It depends what you mean by same boat. Someone ordering 1 of them is not the same boat as someone who ordered 10.
Who is being refunded?
ive not actually looked at the glitch to see how youd apply it but i suspect theres lots of variables with this. Ie some get better offers than others, either through economies of scale, S&S discounts etc.
If theyre refunding others and not you, bearing in mind this is an organisation that presses a button and lots of things happen (like refunds issued to hundreds of people) id be thinking there was a reason they wherent doing it for me as opposed to they mustve forgotten me. Id be looking for those reasons.0 -

I'm not sure what you mean. The voucher was a click box actually on the amazon.co.uk product page. How would it not apply to amazon.co.uk?0 -
Who is being refunded?
On a facebook group I am on, people who seemed to have ordered multiples are claiming they are getting refunds.

Fair enough. I think it's because they have called up instead of web chat.0 -

As previosuly posted, the T&C's attatched to the voucher state
As you ordered on Amazon.co.uk the voucher was not valid.0 -

Seems a bit ironic coming from someone looking to take advantage of a glitch.
Anyway, amazons customer service is typically exemplary.0 -

So true. Best customer service i've ever experienced. I wonder if peope consider whether it's worth compromising their amazon account for a few cheap toilet rolls.0 -

Totally agree with you. I've always been happy. Normally when something comes damaged etc they refund and let you keep it. But when you use them pretty much as your sole outlet, pay for prime and the amount of tax they evade I think they should honour these sorts of situations.0
