Parking Eye Appeal Response...Want Driver Details ?

I’ve complained to UHW PALS and am awaiting response.
In the meantime the clock is ticking on my appeal with Parking Eye and they are expecting driver details.... I think they’ve given me a further 21 (or maybe 28 I can’t recall) to respond to this info request or to pay the fine at the “discounted” rate. I presume if I hear nothing it will be a popla code that’s then sent or will they actually answer my original appeal regardless of this driver detail nonsense? Will they then expect the full £70 fine if it gets to Popla stage? I DO NOT WANT TO PAY THIS but equally I have other stresses going on with I’ll children etc and can’t handle the stress of debt collector letters etc.

nobody here can tell you what PE will do, you will have to wait and see

the point is that in the meantime you complain to PALS and try and get it cancelled at source, whilst awaiting the PE decision

PE "should" either cancel or issue a popla code, when they get around to it, UNLESS the trust get it cancelled, ie:- PALS get it cancelled

the full amount is due if the popla appeal fails, but there is no compulsion to pay it

PE may well take it to court after that where a judge decides and the same judge decides how much

that is why we want you to kill it with PALS, so wait for the PALS reply

There's no stress surely with debt collectors letters when you know that they are toothless and can be completely ignored??

I should’ve got on to PALS straight away I know but I didn’t even know they existed and have had an ill kid so now is better than not at all.
I so hope they can kill this for me!

Sorry Quentin but things like that just scare me and I panic. I hate the thought of that hovering over me.

its not the debt collector letters that are hovering over you, debt collectors are powerless


the actual threat hanging over you is a possible court case by PE themselves , within 6 years, and that was the case when the NTK arrived on the doormat

they have been inviting the keeper to pay up in order to avoid a court case , that ball is still in play until either it is paid in full OR the pcn is cancelled by using PALS or Popla

obviously you want the latter to happen, to negate the former

I realise you've got a lot going on. But when you complain, do so with all flags flying, be really assertive but polite of course. A half-hearted effort just won't cut it.

Yes, I know they're on the freakin' PCN (aka NtK) - but I've no idea what that says unless you either give us the two dates as requested (now for the third and final time before I ignore this thread for good), or you link a photo/scan of the NtK - as I have also previously asked you to do.

If your iPad is crashing, either bin it, or get yourself on a PC/laptop while you take it down to the Apple Expert guys to sort out.

I don’t have the knowledge or time to upload photos at the moment so please just go ahead and ignore this thread as you have better things to be dealing with.
I have several stress related issues going on at the moment and I just wanted some simple friendly advice, no judgement.
